Return Policy

Returns

Our return policy is simple and designed to ensure your happiness, with lots of wiggle room. If you're unhappy with your order you can return it for a full refund within 30 days of purchase.

We see returns happening for one of the following reasons, please note the eligibility conditions each return scenario.

  1. It doesn't fit, or you don't like how it looks once you see it in person, or your mom ordered the exact same one for your child on the exact same day and you don't need two (she always did have impeccable taste). Anything like that - no problem, we're happy to accept a return and refund your money. To be eligible for a return, it must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. 
  2. Your item is defective. We're pretty darn uptight and careful about making sure anything we send out is top quality and in top condition, but if you end up with a defective hat - we will make it right! You're welcome to either return the hat for a full refund, or exchange it for a non-defective hat - your choice.

The only item which is non-returnable is gift cards.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase (your email receipt or packing slip will work fine).

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the status of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a week or so.

Late or missing refunds

If about 10 days have passed and you haven’t received a refund yet, give your bank account or credit card statement one more peek. Those pesky banks can take a long time to show a refund sometimes. It's almost like they're waiting for the stagecoach with the money to arrive (if you know what I mean). If you don't have any luck there, please contact us and we'll help you work on the mystery.

Exchanges

We replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you have a defective item and need to exchange it, contact us at and we'll get you the information you need to send it back.

Gifts

If the item was given to you as a gift, we're happy to give you a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be emailed to you.

Shipping back to us

When you contact us about your return we'll provide instructions, and a return shipping address label to print and put on your package to return to us.
